In Seven Shades of Sean, LUDWIG focuses on the young Scottish guitarist Sean Shibe. Seven of LUDWIG’s top musicians unravel Sean’s musical identity and challenge him to show himself from different sides. Sean forms a duo with all 7 individual musicians. Together, the duos explore common ground and choose a repertoire that connects them. This creates a kaleidoscope of different combinations of instruments and styles, with Sean’s guitars as the connecting factor. All preliminary explorations will take place online – only on the day of the concert do the duos get together live: the ultimate musical blind date!
